Amazing Race Camp
This week's campers enjoyed a visit from Kerith Rae at Relay Foods. She read "I Will Never Not EVER Eat a Tomato" by Lauren Child, a story about a girl who wouldn't eat her vegetables... until her brother told her that they had magical properties. When you realize that carrots are actually orange twiglets from Jupiter and mashed potatoes are actually cloud fluff from the highest peak of Mt. Fuji, suddenly veggies seem a lot more appetizing!
Kerith also shared an innovative way to get children to try new things. As members of the "Two Bite Club," our campers vowed to take at least 2 bites of something they haven't tried-- one bite to try, and one bite to taste. Want to help your child build heathy habits early? Try the "Two Bite Club" at home!« Return to Photo Gallery
